Tree and Book

This is the section of our page where we stop being goofy and do something serious.

Mr. Wiblur (Jim Chapman) has been a avid genealogy researcher for many a year, and has extended his lines back quite a ways.

Jim's primary lines include Chapman that originated in Yorkshire, England, and came to the USA about 1850. From there they moved to Missouri, Colorado and Utah. His mother was a Byerly tracing their roots into the Mid-West and New England

Patty's lines include Johnson (coming to the US in the early 1800's, going through Illinois, and across the plains to Utah, then up to Wyoming and Montana. Her Mother was a Hovde. They come to the US from Norway, moving through Wisconsin to Montana

Note: Almost all of the Johnson research was done by Patty's uncle, and most of it has not been verified by either Patty or Jim. It would not be a huge surprise if there were inaccuracies, since all the info came to us in the form of a GECDOM file with no source references. We recommend you only use this info as a guideline and confirm everything for yourself (a good practice with any info you research).

If you have any questions, comments, corrections and/or additions to anything we have online here, we would be very glad to hear from you.
